The latest accomplishment at Vizhuthukal was achieved during the visit to a Home run by the Community Health Education Society (CHES) for HIV-infected children and AIDS patients at Valasaravakkam, Chennai. About 40 children who are below the age of 17 years are given shelter and support at this Home.

A group of people from our team visited this Home where a special appeal for financial assistance was made. An amount of Rs.22, 000 was collected in response to this appeal. This was used to procure materials to the children that were handed over to them during the visit. Ms. Niranchana and Mr. Bala staged the entire episode, with the support and encouragement of Ms. Rupa and other members at Vizhuthukal.

Our visit was made more meaningful by the fact that, Ms. Nacha, who is a student of Visual Communication, volunteered to train a 15 year old boy on Photoshop. Our hearty kudos to her!!!
