"Give me 100 energetic young men and I shall transform India”, said Swami Vivekananda. So much faith he had in the ability of the youth. So if 100 energetic young men can transform India , can’t a handful transform a part of it?
When we reminisce about the past, there always existed some eventful incidents. There are times when our decision making capabilities were highly impacted due to dearth of information and guidance. The most cherished learning’s’ in life are those imbibed through experience. The eventuality was Vizhuthukal.
The origin of “Vizhuthukal” was from our young minds. We are a group of youngsters who have taken it upon ourselves to repay the society that has made us what we are now, in our own little way.United hand in hand, we have voluntarily come forward to take up the cause of education of children. All of us are working in various capacities. Apart from our regular work, we have set aside most of our time to work for “Vizhuthukal”, hoping to leave our imprints in the lives of many young underprivileged children of our society.
Our journey is a long one, through dark tunnels and labyrinths, but headed towards a bright way out. Our hope lies in the fact that the broad and strong vizhuthukal of our “Vizhuthukal” will be spread all our way giving us the support and strength.
Vizhuthukal is a venture to assist the people who hail from the rural areas unable to get the right kind of guidance to pursue their dreams. Most of the times in our lives, we have always been in the receiving end from the society. Vizhuthukal is an effort to give back our best to the society. Thus, we began our journey, Vizhuthukal - a Trust to educate, support livelihood developments and promote health in the rural areas serving the needy.
A non-profit voluntary organization dedicated to support and transform the lives of the impoverished families and communities in rural India. Vizhuthukal traces its root, to a group of idealistic young men who shared the common dream of building a better tomorrow for all, especially the under privileged.
- Supporting under privileged and or marginalized Indian students to improve their standard and quality of life by getting better education
- Educating and guiding the people on Health awareness for their day to day life usage, including combat HIV and AIDS
- To provide support and care on alternative and or sustainable livelihood opportunities for the destituted part of Indian society
- To instill awareness on “Climatic Change” and other environmental issues for the well being of the society.
